A new forum, currently buying ad's and advertising around (official advertising launch date May,3,2012). Just letting this community look around and let me know what needs to be done or should be added to improve the forum.

First, what exactly is the purpose of the forum? Is it affiliated with another site?

Good luck with it! However, Internet forums are less fashionable than they were five or so years ago, so unless you have a lot of friends or a distinctive feature to drive traffic to your site, it's hard to generate activity. Advertising can't hurt, of course.
